Description
The Salomé is a vintage style studio apartment located only few meters from the famous Fenice Theatre in the San Marco District.
Known by the connoisseurs to be one of the best Opera Houses in the world, the Salomé is named after the famous play written by Oscar Wilde, represented also at the Fenice Theatre.
The location is possibly the best in Venice Historical Centre for its quietness, beauty and central position. The public transport stop and the supermarket are only 2 minutes’ walk away and there are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafés in the surroundings. Looking out the windows you can see gondolas sliding on the calm emerald waters of the canal below, while if you leave the windows open during the day you can enjoy the serenades of the Gondoliers!
The Salomé apartment is found at the 1st floor with elevator of an historic Palazzo that gain access from Campiello dei Calegheri, long time owned by the same family who recently completely renovated the entire building. It measures about 50 square meters therefore it is quite spacious for this type of accommodation.
It is smartly furnished with original vintage furniture, like a Danish designer sideboard from the 50’s, French table lamps and appliques from the 50’s, Reggiani vintage Italian designer floor lamp from the 70’s, original modern monochromatic paintings. The distinctive style of the Salomé studio arises also from the choice of a sleek Doimo Kitchen with induction plates and brushed white oak parquet boards, while the spacious bathroom is coated with Ecomalta, an innovative and ecological material that can be used to create continuous and minimalistic surfaces. The comfortable Simmons mattress sits on a nice king size bed covered with smooth linen, same as the double-sofa bed and the curtains made with linen. In short: a very stylish environment.
At the Salomé there is washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, induction stoves, fridge/freezer, kettle, American coffee maker, Nespresso coffee machine, efficient air-conditioning system, climate-controlled heating, Wi-Fi internet connection, Smart TV and other basic electrical appliances.
The Salomé studio apartment is perfect for a romantic couple but can be rented for short term also by 3 people using the double sofa-bed.
Additional Rules & Information
• A €400 security deposit is required by credit card at check-in for all guests, except for bookings made via Airbnb.
• Tourist Tax (€ 4 per person, per night) must be paid in cash at check-in for a maximum of 5 nights. Children aged 10–16 receive a 50% discount, while children under 10 are exempt.
• The number of guests, including children, must not exceed the apartment’s maximum occupancy stated on the apartment page
• Please inform us of your arrival time at least 4 days before check-in.
• Standard check-in is available from 14:00 to 20:00.
• Late check-in from 20:00 to 00:00 is available for an additional € 50 fee, payable in cash upon arrival.
• Check-in from 00:00 to 01:00 is available for a € 80 check-in fee, payable in cash upon arrival.
• No check-in is possible after 01:00 AM.
• Check-out time is 10:00 AM.
• Please contact us in advance if you would like to request an early luggage drop-off.
• After your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive an e-mail with our online check-in form. There, you can let us know your preferred bed setup (single or double beds). If no preference is selected, we’ll prepare the apartment according to the default setup shown on the form.
• Pets are allowed only with prior approval from the owner and require an additional fee of € 80 per stay. Please contact us before booking, as cancellations due to pet non-approval are not eligible for a refund.
